Succulents – Effortless Growing

It was not long ago that me and my bestie went for an all-girls trip to Singapore. Quite a rememberable trip, I must say. That was the time when I came across plants called “Succulents”. My very first introduction to their beautiful world. 

The succulents come in a large variety, there are thousands of them of various shapes, sizes and colours. I was amazed to see the symmetry with which each succulent grew. Not even a single leaf or petal of theirs was out of place, they all had perfect circular symmetry, perfect harmony.

I experienced that they grow with least amount of maintenance and grow beautifully. They can face and handle harsh weather conditions as well. They are quite resilient by nature and they seem to be flourishing just effortlessly.

I took that experience into my personal and professional life. Now whenever I am stuck with a difficult situation I think about these little yet strong plants and drive inspiration from them.

When I look at them they tell me back, “You can do it.”

Looking at them they tell me back, “You are much more that what you think you are.” 

They take me back to symmetry and balance that they have on them. I experience same sense of peace and calmness as I would feel when I am doing Mandal Art. Succulents for me are Nature’s Mandal Art, so simple yet so intriguing.

I too have started my journey of growing effortlessly with least maintenance from other side; I just want to grow every day effortlessly and seamlessly, with resilience and joy. Just like the beautiful succulents growing by themselves in perfect harmony inside out.
